My first year of college is over

I am back home already on my summer break! It's hard to believe that a year of college has happened since my graduation last year. In fact, next weekend is graduation at Highland Academy. I have learned so much in this one school year, and have made many happy memories. It's been a while since I updated my blog. I want to share some pictures from my second semester.

Maureen's birthday party. It has been a true joy to become friends with Christina and Maureen this year.
This was how our bulletin board was decorated in the our hall in the girl's dorm this semester.

Winter at Southern

In April we spent an afternoon with friends singing songs on the guitar, and having a Bible study. It was a blessing!
The night before Christine left school we ate tortillas in the gazebo and had some fun!

My suitemates, roommate, and I went to Coolidge park at the end of the year to pictures. It was so special to spend time with them.

The weekend of graduation was a great time to spend time with friends. I was able to spend more time getting to know my friends, Rebecca and Suzzanne. On Sabbath afternoon we went to the archeological museum.

Graduation was held in the Chattanooga Convention center this because there are so many graduates that the gym cannot hold everyone.

I know that I am going to miss the graduates next year. Yet, I am very happy for them as they continue with their education at the graduate or medical school, or start working. My plans for the summer is to get a class done at my community college, spend time with familiy exploring the Nashville area, and get some projects done around the house. I am happy to have some time off. Have a great summer everyone! I will be updating my blog more often. Stay tuned.
